Annual 4th of July Parade

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Gracywoods Neighborhood Association will be hosting our annual 4th of July parade.

We will gather starting at 8:30 a.m. at the water fountain on Bittern Hollow and the parade through the Greenbelt will start at 9:00 a.m. (Wednesday, July 4th)

(see map: http://goo.gl/maps/kRwU)

We will be serving iced watermelon and continue our annual tradition with our cupcake contest.  (Bring your best recipe of decorated cupcakes for the contest and to share.)

Kids (of all ages) bring your bikes, trikes, scooters and wagons decorated in red-white and blue, for our patriotic ride in the park - and to compete for best decorated non-motorized vehicles. (or come early and we'll help you decorate your ride.)

Prizes: Win prizes for decorated bikes and trikes and the cupcake contest.

VOLUNTEERS:  We need a few volunteers to help out with this event.  Anyone play a drum or flute?  We need a musician to lead the parade - or to entertain us afterwards.  We also need small prizes to be donated for the contests.  ($10 gift cards to local merchants are ideal.)  Volunteers are needed to help with the decorating and festivities.  If you have would like to volunteer or donate, please contact:  Bill Glass: 836-3330 or wlglass@sbcglobal.net

Make plans to join us for annual neighborhood 4th of July Parade . . . bring a lawn chair and a friend!
